JOB DESCRIPTION

ICMPD’s Policy Unit analyses migration-related policies, provides expert advice, and facilitates dialogue on key issues to support Member States and partners. Its aim is to deliver innovative and effective policy ideas that address both the opportunities and challenges of migration.

The Policy Officer will work under the guidance of the Head of Policy, collaborating closely with the policy team and contributing to activities under the Member States Programme and the broader PRS portfolio.

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in the field of migration policy analysis, migration governance, or public policy within international organisations, think tanks, embassies, or relevant institutions. Demonstrated knowledge/expertise on EU migration governance, especially in areas such as international protection, irregular migration and return. Proficiency in verbal and written English (mandatory), proficiency in other languages is an asset. ​
