This position, not only monitors the monthly income/expenses cashflow with the different fundraising areas but also manage the relationships with other internal/external stakeholders as Operations Area, banks, SAT, etc. This position manages all the accounting, finance and reporting activities related to PSFR activities at national, regional and global level.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation, submission, monitoring, and reporting of PFP annual work plans, budget, and results.
  •  Monitor cash flow relating to private sector revenue and expenses.
  • Monitors fundraising contributions
  • Reconciles contribution receipts between the database and VISION, and between VISION and PSFR bank accounts in coordination with the Database Associate who issues information from Donor Perfect:
  • Provides appropriate and consistent interpretation and application of PFP related policies and procedures to support the fundraising operation at the country level
  • Works on Bank reconciliation (until transition to a Global Shared Services Centre)
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned as required.

Education:

  • A university degree (bachelor’s degree) in accounting, financial management, economy, or another related field.
  • Supplemental formal financial or accounting training will be considered complementary to a university degree (bachelor’s degree) if the degree is not in a related financial field.
  • Diploma qualification in CIPFA or its equivalent is acceptable in lieu of a university degree (bachelor’s degree) if the degree is not in a related financial field.

Work Experience:

One year of professional experience in financial management and/or audit.

Language:

Fluency in Spanish and proficiency level of English.
