APWCR is incorporated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and strives to protect and promote human rights through research, education, advocacy, and developmental programs in targeted communities in the United States of America and Africa, with a focus on women, children, and youths.

Context

To engage and grow our global audience, APWCR is building a strong digital presence to raise awareness of its work in women’s rights and child protection. Social media is one of our most powerful tools for advocacy, mobilization, and community education. We are seeking a digital-savvy online volunteer to design and schedule engaging, mission-aligned content across our platforms. This assignment will elevate the visibility of our impact and strengthen our campaigns.

Task Description

The volunteer will develop visual and written content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Content may include graphics, video reels, infographics, and carousel posts. They will also prepare a monthly content calendar, design posts for international observances, and share program updates that tell compelling stories of our work and beneficiaries. Volunteers will work closely with our Communications officer and receive brand guidelines and access to relevant materials. Content will be reviewed before publishing.
