How can you make a difference?

Providing technical assistance to the SESAN for the formation of human resource on the National Strategy for Social Change and Behavior of the Intersectoral Intersective “Hand in hand” and adapt the community monitoring of knowledge, attitudes and practices to the communication dimension for the social and behavior change of this initiative.

Tasks to be performed:

Development and design of the virtual course content on the National Communication Strategy for Social and Behavior Change (in CCSYC) of the “Hand in hand” intersectoral initiative.
Adaptation of the community monitoring ballot of knowledge, attitudes and practices to the CCSyC of the intersectoral initiative “hand in hand”.
Check the Express course and the community monitoring ballot of the previous strategy.
Coordinate reviews of review, consultation, validation and programming of activities in conjunction with Sesan.

To qualify as defender of each child, you must meet the following requirements:

Education:

University Degree in Communication Sciences, Pedagogy or some other related (required) area.
Master’s degree (desirable).
ADDITIONAL STUDIES IN SOCIAL CHARGE AND BEHAVIOR OR COMMUNICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT (Desirable).

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in the field of social change and behavior or communication for development (required).
Work experience related to food and nutritional security (desirable).
Experience in mediation of virtual courses with interactive (desirable) methodologies.
Experience in elaboration of CAP monitoring tools (desirable).
Experience in facilitation of knowledge or training processes (desirable).

Have knowledge in:

Knowledge of the topics related to food and nutritional security (required).
Knowledge of the MAM intersectoral initiative (desirable).

The final rate will follow the principle of the “best value for money”, that is, achieve the desired result with the lowest possible fees.Consultants will be asked to stipulate with all inclusive fees, including travel and per diem expenses as applied.

Late delivery clause: In case the consultant present delay in the delivery of stipulated products, which is due to causes outside UNICEF, will be penalized with 3% of the total cost of the contract per week a week completed in late backward, having as a maximum 24% of the total contract.

Payment conditions: (a) UNICEF, unless the opposite is specified in the contract, will make the payment within 30 days of the reception of the consultant’s invoice, which is issued only after the acceptance of UNICEF, of the work specified in the contract.(b) The payment against the aforementioned invoice will reflect any discount that is shown in the payment conditions provided that the payment is made within the period shown in the conditions of payment of the contract.(c) The prices indicated in the contract cannot be increased except by means of express written agreement of UNICEF.(d) The payment of professional fees will be based on the presentation of agreed products.UNICEF reserves the right to retain payment in the event that the deliverables submitted do not comply with the required standards or in case of delays in the presentation of the deliverables by the consultant.

The persons hired under a consulting contract or an individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Statute and Regulations of the United Nations personnel and UNICEF policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to the benefits provided for in them (such as license rights and coverage of medical insurance).Their service conditions will be governed by their contract and the general conditions for contracting consultants.The consultants are responsible for determining their tax obligations and the payment of any tax and/or tariff, in accordance with local legislation or other applicable laws.
